The second Montville Middle School Tournament is on Friday, January 18. Registration will begin at 3:30 pm in the Montville Township High School Media Center. Competition is scheduled to begin at 4:00; three rounds will be followed by a closing recognition of the top competitors in each of the events.

This tournament offers: in Speech: Prose Reading, Poetry Reading, and a combined Impromptu Speaking and Improvisational Acting; in Debate: Public Forum. All NSDA/NJSDL rules will be followed. Those rules can be found at njsdl.org. 

The Public Forum topic will be: The United States federal government should prioritize reducing the federal debt over promoting economic growth.
